This portrait is inspired by the Chaffinch. I have wanted to make this bird for a while and I am really happy to add it to the series. It was most certainly not easy to make this one. Nineteen colour layers were printed for this reduction linoleum print. It is the 20th addition to my bird portraits series. It is a limited edition of 36 prints. All prints are signed and marked with their individual edition number. The extremely warm weather for this time of year slowed down the process considerably, as the ink does not work well at these temperatures.
